Conway Arabians strives to breed the highest quality Arabian and Half/Arabian horses in the world.
Breeders have different standards and ideals, and different views on what constitutes “highest quality.” Here at Conway Arabians we look first and foremost at the horse as an athlete. We breed horses that are capable of performing under saddle, and in harness. They must be sound in body and in temperament, capable both physically and mentally of being “show horses.” We specifically breed for the sweet Arabian disposition that makes for the people friendly horses that want to be companions.
Breeding to produce athletes need not be done at the expense of beauty and type. Our horses are beautiful. They are competitive in halter, as well as performance classes. Although our emphasis is on performance, we will not sacrifice the type, beauty, and expressiveness that drew us to the Arabian breed to begin with.
